By The Way, USS is Universal Studios in Singapore and SG is, well, Singapore.
This holiday season... thank god IGCSE exams are OVER! I have had the liberty of freeing myself and enjoying a long overdue holiday!
I love holidays, they mean I can travel more. Did I ever tell you that I love travelling so much I even considered that I wanted to quit school in order to pursue my one interest, TRAVELLING!
I've travelled to a host of countries in ASIA, and I've done some of those trips alone.
This is why I understand the problem that tourists and travellers like myself occur. We have a budget, or maybe if you're extremely rich you may not, to abide by and the lack of information about our next host country may mean the slightest difference between packing an extra 500 $ for back ups or 5000$. <= Slight Exaggeration
So back to the Singapore trip...
Now, I've always been a fairly detailed planner. I need to know before the trip my definite itinerary and budget for the day. Hey, this is what happens when you're travelling on your pocket money. At the dawn of each day I need to know on the dot, where I'll be going, how much I'll be spending and all necessary information I need for the day to go by smoothly.
This is my way of travelling.
This time, I decided to go on a short 1 week trip to Singapore. Singapore's not a massive challenge to tackle, its a safe country and transportation, food and accomodation is pretty reliable. Scratch that last one out.
However, this time I left the planning to my dad, it was to be a family trip. In our family, the planning usually goes to my dad. Problem is, he never organizes a long trip. Our family trips usually last only 3 days or 5 at most.
So here I am reluctantly letting my dad to plan, boy did I weep. It wasn't that his planning was bad. It was just my dad preferred to hope on the MRT and choose our destination on the spot. Not what I like to do.
In the midst of it all there was a huge fight, between my dad and my mom and I.
So this just goes as a warning that travelling should always be accompanied with a suitable plan for all member of the trip.
Ugh, so now the post ends up being too long. Not wanting to drag you on, I'll just make this PART I of the SingTrip.
See You Later for PART II
